EXPERT WITNESS AND LITIGATION SUPPORT
ICA provides insight to insurance litigation that is often sought out by litigators from the insurance defense litigation departments of even the most seasoned law firms. ICA’s consultants are experts in uncovering the nuances in the insurance policy language which can mean the difference between coverage or no coverage.
ICA’s Expert Witness and Litigation Support services are provided by highly qualified Associates and consultants who hold respected “professional designations and degrees” including JD’s, LLB’s, ESQ’s, CPA’s, ACA’s, MBA’s, MA’s, CPCU’s, ARM’s, ARM-E’s, AINS’s, CRM’s, CIC’s, CISR’s, CLCS’s, AAI’s and PMCs including former insurance defense attorneys.
ICA maintains an extensive archival Library & Research Center, containing historical policy forms, insurance company literature and marketing material, and resources on the developing customs and practices in the insurance industry. Such documents have been found helpful to the Client in proving insurance company intent during policy drafting stage, which has often been the determining argument in resolving a case. As insurance claims have become larger and more frequently contested, these costs have a significant impact on a company’s bottom line. It is therefore critical to engage well qualified litigation support and expert witness services, even at the commencement of the claim/litigation process.
