“I have a unique perspective as a former ICA employee of 30 years and having also been a former client of ICA, before my employment there. George Wall, the founder of ICA, had been the Insurance Consultant to Ray Miller & Co where I worked as the Controller. When my former employer’s doors closed, George offered me a position at ICA. As a client of ICA, I was always so impressed at the level of service and professionalism ICA had provided to us, and it made my decision to join ICA, an easy one.
From 1980 to 1994 I had the pleasure of working for George as Controller until his passing in 1994, at which time, Barron, his son, took the reins and remains at the helm until this day.
ICA is very different from any other company I have worked for. The leadership made it known that family comes first. I always felt fully supported in so many ways, which even included my own family. I was always treated with respect and given the opportunity to fully be involved in matters of concern to the organization.
The growth of the firm, expansion of its services and breadth of clients never ceased to amaze me. The talented, diverse and dedicated people that Barron has brought to ICA, are of such high caliber, I believe they are the secret to the company’s success.
ICA became my second family, and that feeling of family still resonates with me even today in retirement. I am still in contact with my ICA friends, and I am forever grateful that I had the opportunity to enjoy my time at ICA on so many levels.”
