Rachael joined ICA as a Consultant in the spring of 2018. Prior to that, Rachael spent almost 20 years working at both personal-lines and specialty-lines insurance carriers, where she honed her claims-handling skills. Rachael was also part of a start-up Managing General Agent where she was involved in every aspect of accounts from initial submissions, rating, quoting, binding, issuance of endorsements and loss control.
Rachael is our claims master, spearheading the claims investigation and consulting services for the Long Hill office. Rachael also provides full-service risk management consulting, including designing insurance specifications, insurance marketing, negotiating coverages and premiums, assisting in loss adjustment, establishing procedures to reduce exposure to loss and mergers and acquisitions due diligence. Rachael has developed a niche vertical for this practice working with Special Servicers. Rachael works alongside Special Servicers and Receivers assisting in all insurance related aspects of properties moving down the REO path to foreclosure, through the foreclosure period and until the property is sold. In addition, Rachael works on a portfolio of performing loans for a lender, approving borrower insurance information for closing.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with husband, 2 daughters and 2 dogs. She volunteers at many school-related functions and sports related activities for her children.
