Dor is excited to join ICA as a Senior Consultant, bringing extensive experience in underwriting, risk management and insurance strategy. She began her career as an Underwriter Trainee, advancing to Senior Underwriter, specializing in package insurance programs for diverse industries, including educational and religious institutions, financial services and auto dealers. After relocating to Long Island, NY, she joined a Managing General Agent as a Program Underwriter, later becoming Senior Programs Underwriting Specialist, overseeing underwriting guidelines for multiple national programs.
In 2017, she transitioned to Risk Management, serving as Strategist, Insurance and Risk Manager for a regional healthcare organization. She then joined a global brokerage firm, managing insurance placements for Fortune 100 corporations and developing marketplace strategies for complex multinational risks.
Dor holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Buffalo University and an MBA in Technology Management from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Dor has earned designations, including the Associate in Risk Management, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Underwriting and Associate in Insurance Services. Before joining ICA, she was a Senior Risk Consultant specializing in real estate insurance.
Passionate about fostering strong business relationships, she brings a unique perspective from working across the insurance carrier, brokerage and client sectors. She loves the works of J.R.R Tolkien and presented a paper to the Tolkien Society’s annual conference Oxonmoot at Oxford University in 2022. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her son, and is an avid WWE fan, having attended WrestleMania five times.
